    Parents & Grandparents Program(PGP) 2025

You can’t. It was only open to people who were part of EOI2020. There is a very good chance that the pool may not be open for the next couple of years and there are likely many hundreds of thousands applicants waiting for the chance to try to secure PGP. The reality is that for many in Canada...

    Do I stand any chance?

Still would be nearly impossible given age and no mention of family in Alberta. Also unclear what their NOC is but pretty good chance it is not one of the in demand NOCs given country of origin, H1B and bachelor’s degree.

Medical Exam attempted Suicide in past

You will need to declare your past mental health issues but what is important is that you were able to overcome your mental health issues and are able to work/study for many years at this point. What IRCC is concerned about is your longterm ability to support yourself financially and not place...

    No benefits in employment letter

The main concern in the letter is hours worked and pay. Also proof that you were actually employed. You can include job offer if you want to clarify the benefits you received. Whether you got health and dental for example is not a huge issue for IRCC.

    Residency Obligation not met

Would personally not risk leaving a stable job given the economy in Canada. Also you would need to be prepared to leave your parents in India. Whether relocating to Canada is a good idea depends on your current situation. If you have a good life in India and need to be close to family not sure...

    Super Visa - June 2025

Supervisas and any visit visas are a privilege. The fact that Canada even offers a visit length of up to 5 years is pretty insane so a few months processing is minimal processing time. Many parents and visitors in general are trying to remain in Canada and not returning home which is one of the...

Travel to Canada after Super Visa Application

She should really be spending more time at home for both reentry and supervisa approval reasons. Supervisa and TRVs are meant to visit not move to Canada. The possible length of visit are giving people the false impression this is a permanent move. If you get sick and can’t purchase supervisa...

H&C Humanitarian Ground with/or Without Failed refugee claim

If you applied in June 2024 it literally could be years until you get a decision. We have zero idea what the backlogs are like and what yearly quota has been allocated to general H&C category. The math doesn’t math so not sure why IRCC is not reforming this program.

    Do I stand any chance?

Essentially zero. How do you have an OWP?

August 2025 - Outland Spousal Sponsorship

You can enter as a visitor if you want.

    Residency Obligation not met

Never said they wouldn’t be admitted to Canada but a valve replacement surgery for parent in 2024 would not be an H&C reason for not being able to meet their RO by a few months in late 2025. As stated it appears as licensing exam is the main reason for delaying travel to Canada. Lots of...

No POE/Letter of Introduction Issued after Passport Stamping

Was this an extension? Assume that is the reason but others can correct me.

Study Permit Applicants 2025 (September intake)

Your application is completely different so response time is not relevant. As said this was guaranteed approval just processing while your application requires much more significant review.

Super Visa Eligibilty - Recently started employment

Without proof of income on NOA pretty pointless to apply. Never seen anyone get approved. The other issue is that IRCC gets concerned that parents are under the false impression they are moving to Canada if their child has been in Canada for less than a year.
