    The requirement is specifically for the funds, cash and it's for the applicant, not for a host. So an applicant needs to show his own funds, although it doesn't really matter, but really nice to have.

    Don't stress about such mistakes specifically in GCMS officer's notes. Officers write these notes very quickly and they don't care about such things as punctuation, grammar, orthography or spelling. You will be requested all your personal information before issuing COPR and PR.
