    You don't HAVE to fill in the representative form. BUT if in the future you want to call IRCC about their application, you cannot act as a representative. And so you will only get status update for sponsor and not the applicant. So it's up to you to decide.

    Your mother needs to seek help if she needs help to make sure her children can go to school and maintain valid status while she works in Canada. She should contact the school board for the new LOA. It should NEVER be on the shoulder of a grade 8 kid to figure it out. :(

    Wife is not living with husband and is in a different province. She will not be covered as a dependent under husband's health insurance. She works as a foreign worker in NS. So she needs to look into how to qualify for health insurance herself in NS. No idea if that will impact future PR...

    I assume that you saw that Quebec has paused new spousal sponsorship application until June 2026. It will be a while before you can apply to sponsor her if you got your PR this year. And submitted applications are taking a lot longer for Quebec vs other provinces.

    How about medical? Background and police check? Sponsor eligibility is far from just waiting for PPR. I don't know how OHIP will be available to people who only has AOR. From my understanding it's AIP (applicant eligibility) unless it has recently changed.
