You don't HAVE to fill in the representative form. BUT if in the future you want to call IRCC about their application, you cannot act as a representative. And so you will only get status update for sponsor and not the applicant.
So it's up to you to decide.
Just to echo on another member's reply.
It's only been only 2 months since you applied. Majority of the applicants take about a year to process.
Social Assistance enquiry is normal process.
Do not stress about it now.
The chance of being picked is not affect by their age. But as they age, the chance of passing medical exams may lower if their health decline.
Good luck for your parents this round. They are still sending invites.
So you are the co-signer for your in-laws under PGP 2024. (your spouse got the invite)
So now you need to have at least 3 (your family) + 2 (your in-laws assuming no children as dependent) + 2 your parents.
That's family income of 7 people. And which year you count 5 and which you count 7, I am...
It doesn't matter how you want to "paint" the picture.
Your physical days in Canada vs USA will tell if you live in Canada or not. IRCC has access to your entry records.
Sponsor needs to live in Canada. You cannot move to US and just file tax.

you live in Canada
Your primary residential address must be in Canada...
This is the part that I got confused. I think he only needs to be living in Ontario when he applies to sponsor his spouse. And that's months from now.
In terms of the economic stream, I am not familiar enough to comment.
Your mother needs to seek help if she needs help to make sure her children can go to school and maintain valid status while she works in Canada.
She should contact the school board for the new LOA.
It should NEVER be on the shoulder of a grade 8 kid to figure it out. :(
The dependent's age is under 22 years old. Is she still single? If so, you are lucky that she can still be considered as your parents' dependent since you got invite this year.
What does this even mean?
How can a confirmation be scheduled?
And the address has incomplete postal code.
OK. I hope you finally notice that is a scam email.
Wife is not living with husband and is in a different province. She will not be covered as a dependent under husband's health insurance.
She works as a foreign worker in NS. So she needs to look into how to qualify for health insurance herself in NS.
No idea if that will impact future PR...
I assume that you saw that Quebec has paused new spousal sponsorship application until June 2026. It will be a while before you can apply to sponsor her if you got your PR this year. And submitted applications are taking a lot longer for Quebec vs other provinces.
How about medical? Background and police check?
Sponsor eligibility is far from just waiting for PPR. I don't know how OHIP will be available to people who only has AOR. From my understanding it's AIP (applicant eligibility) unless it has recently changed.
