    Your lawyer is the best person to provide advice about whether they feel like you have strong grounds for appeal. Should be processed faster than 2.5 years. If the member found you credible did they feel that you didn’t have grounds for asylum and that was why you were denied?

    Quotas were cut and also appears that they may have accepted too many people in 2024 likely assuming they would continue having a similar quota. All has lead to a much bigger backlog and slower processing.
