    April 2025 - Citizenship Applications

No need to worry, it will come as the page says - not later than six days before the ceremony.

    March 2025 - Citizenship Applications

Yes, happens. Sometimes they send out before, sometimes day of, sometimes just after. Nothing to worry about. Won't be available until afterwards anyway, but lots of people post questions asking why they can't download certificate before the ceremony. Which is to say: I think I understand why...

    March 2025 - Citizenship Applications

Well, as the tracker makes clear: "If you haven’t gotten it 6 calendar days before the event, check your junk mail folder and contact our Client Support Centre to make sure we have the right contact information for you." Math suggests you contact them tomorrow, if you haven't received.

Enter Canada via US (when PR card is lost)

Would recommend having a brief summary of the medical reason and copies of the reports handy (both at border and for the IRCC pick-up interview). You may hear different opinions about whether or not problems are likely; my guess would be not very likely (assuming all else in order), but my...

Spousal sponsorship(spousal class vs family class)

Yes, it is strictly true. If you're not currently residing together, you can only apply family class. Once you get AOR, she can apply for an open work permit, which takes several months. When applying you should probably explain - briefly - why you're not living together. And update her...

    PR CARD RENEWAL 2025 August

You can travel outside Canada without one; you need the PR card to return. If you don't get it, you can apply for a PRTD or return via a land border (if you can travel through USA).

PR Card renewal- H&C grounds / Not meeting RO

I don't see point in applying at this point either. She should decide when she's going to settle in Canada, and do it then - and be prepared to remain. As it is she is risking the PR status. If she wants to continue residing outside Canada - well, at some point, that's not compatible with being...

    January 2025 - Citizenship Applications

Sorry to hear that. FWIW, I had one family member request an in-person (no explanation required other than 'want an in-person ceremony'), in which physical certificates were issued. Requesting it right away - only added about 2-3 weeks (I just don't recall), IRCC acted on it quickly; this was...

    November 2024 - Citizenship Applications

This is pretty much exactly the same as PR applications; neither have ever been first-in / first-out procedures. Some take longer than others. Yes, unfortunately the security and related clearances are taking a lot longer. Not all, but some.

    February 2025 - Citizenship Applications

It usually comes no later than 5-6 days before the ceremony. Sometimes sooner, but if you want overall impressions recent etc - read the reports on the forums of when people get them.

Enter Canada via US (when PR card is lost)

While I agree this is true, would still suggest having a printed copy of the e-COPR just to facilitate things. It can sometimes be the difference between an officer waving one through (because they have the info in front of them, including here possibly seeing that it was somewhat recent) and...

Oath from in progress to not started

Same answer as in the other thread where you asked this: https://www.canadavisa.com/canada-immigration-discussion-board/threads/march-2025-citizenship-applications.867956/post-11093886

    March 2025 - Citizenship Applications

I recall having seen one or two cases like this coming up - I think it is likely nothing more than an oath ceremony being rescheduled and nought to do with your specific case.

Is she actually going to remain in Canada at this point?

If they provided instructions, do that. If not, webform.

Didn’t list short part-time jobs in PR, should I add them in Citizenship application?

Personally I don't think you need to include them, and don't think CRA records will be a concern. The information provided is primarily to demonstrate that you have the physical presence days in Canada, and very short-term jobs are mostly not relevant for this. You'll have to decide though.

    Spousal sponsorship

Just respond (however indicated) by providing clearly your factual place of residence (and mailing address if different) and your spouse's. If you must use a separate mailing address for either, specify clearly.

Citizenship application - Hire a lawyer vs Apply on my own

Entirely up to you. But having responded to your PR card thread: you are definitely overthinking it for that. The 'proof' you have to submit is just some evidence of having resided here (or put differently, 'proof' can just mean evidence). Two pieces, that's it. They can and almost certainly...

Same sex conjugal partner PR application refused - 2nd time

Good point. We can do them through mail, even if it's a bit slow, but I guess that doesn't work easily for Russia now.
