    Editing my submitted application?

Well, I think it was silly to not just declare it, but I understand where you're coming from (it seems like part-time temporary employment). I personally doubt that IRCC will care.

    February 2025 - Citizenship Applications

There was a poster here who had issues with fingerprints not being delivered, and it was an issue that required manual intervention. In my view, two months is too long. I think it was @USProgrammer in an october or november thread?

    I am worried!!

This is of course true, misrepresentation - but the question of import in this is whether it's material. And what's material is not always obvious, and can be somewhat subjective. EG: someone who got Irish or Danish citizenship while a child through their parentage, doesn't hold a passport, and...

    I am worried!!

I agree you should get advice. It may not be a big deal, but that may also depend on the nationality in question - and other factors like how much you've travelled there, hold the passport, etc.

Expected processing time for background security checks?

I don't believe there are caps for spouse and minor dependent sponsorships ex Quebec. They publish estimates only, and of course they dedicate resources to expected application level (demand*), and there are practical limits to how many they can process. So of course if there are a lot more apps...

Expected processing time for background security checks?

No worries, and sorry that you're stuck that way. At least you're in Canada. Terrible they're still doing this. I'm even surprised IRCC on the phone admits this.

Issue with Employment Documents for the PR application

Also include the email where they say they refuse to provide for part-time employment.

    PR Application

Yeah, to me, these are not that significant, unless one of you was married to someone else until the 24th or something. Again, up to you of course, but I tend to think this is a clerical error, not something that renders the marriage invalid. [My comment about other jurisdictions was more a...

    Inland Sponsorship - Imm0008 and Imm5669 - Education question

I don't understand the details of your education (and honestly, don't care that much, and I don't think it's terribly important). Just decide how best to present it, use your judgment. If you think this is that cmplex and worthy of explaining (I don't, but up to you), then include an explanation...

Can I Enter Canada on TRV Before PR Landing? (Passport Request Received)

-Many cases of people doing this, it's not a reason to be denied at airport. -If you're asked anything about this upon arrival, just tell them the truth (you had tickets already and could not wait for passport submission/stamping process). -When you are in Canada, you should immediately advise...

    Inland Sponsorship - Imm0008 and Imm5669 - Education question

You're not getting many answers because it either seems pretty obvious (if you didn't complete a post secondary degree, then it's post secondary no degree) or its unclear how many years total post-secondary/not very important. Don't include years you repeated, count other ones, even if they...

Can I Enter Canada on TRV Before PR Landing? (Passport Request Received)

Yes, you can. Note that since you'll be changing how you land, it might take a lot longer - or in other words if you wanted to complete landing sooner and have right to work, health care etc when you arrive, you'd be better advised to stay and submit passport. If you don't care about those...

    PR Application

I too would be inclined to submit with what you have - but what's missing from your description is what the significance is of the mistaken entry, and whether it's material.* If this is either a nothingburger or obvious error (eg off by a couple of days or a month or an obvious transposition of...

Ah, I believe you will need one then. Sorry, I've no info on how to get the Malaysian PCC.

    Language proficiency proof for citizenship

Again, I've no specific information on that school. If you think it should be accepted, you may well be right. It could be delayed but I don't believe they refuse without asking for more info. Not 100% certain though.

    Spousal sponsorship

Just read the instructions. It's no big deal to do an invitation letter anyway.

Expected processing time for background security checks?

I don't agree that it's true that all forms of PR are subject to quotas or caps annually. But that's a separate discussion. As far as we can tell, it IS true for Quebec spousal sponsorships.

Expected processing time for background security checks?

I don't know for certain, but I've no reason to believe they can't just hold it. But deny outright? No, not unless there's some other issue.

Expected processing time for background security checks?

I personally don't believe those security check flags are reliable. (And I doubt the call centre have any knowledge beyond the flag) And I also don't believe the CSQ is indicative of actual movement on part of the Quebec government. They seem to effectively be imposing a quota, and Ottawa...
