    Ah, okay! Thanks for sharing! My application was submitted about a week after yours at Mississauga - I’ll keep an eye out. Update : I see the application date changed to 14th June on the new oci portal. Status also changed to under process.

    I’m probably not answering the question but I wouldn’t trust the info from the new portal. Have you checked the status through the bls tracking page? I think that’s more updated than the oci website. Because, my application shows pending on it but shows under process on bls page.

    It’s the same for me. Based on the timelines shared, I’m assuming it takes roughly three weeks from application submission until acknowledgement and another three weeks until it gets granted. Another couple of days for it to be ready for pick up / show up in mail.

    1. The national identification number field as I recall is not mandatory (Does not have an asterisk) and hence can be left blank. I did that for my minors application. 2. Previous passport number would be if the person has a previous Canadian passport. Its NOT the cancelled Indian passport...
