    It will likely be incredibly difficult to get PR as a security officer unless you know French. You need to do a lot of research on pathways and scores needed. Securing PR has become very difficult.

    Assume you are a citizen? You will also have to prove that you will relocate to Canada after PR is approved. Assume you also have the funds to show you can support your family without government help when you move back to Canada.

    Are you a Canadian citizen? You are currently living with your spouse in their home country. Never a great idea to overstay anywhere. Overstaying in his home country won’t have an impact on the sponsorship but could create issues for future travels to his home country and others.
