    Sorry to hear that… It’s not reasonable to leave people in limbo for years. Their listed service standard is 110 days but in reality if CSIS gets involved, a year would be honestly a miracle.

    You should apply for CBSA notes where less would be redacted. My guess is your Security Clearance is still In Progress and this is the redacted reason your application is On hold.

    Your application is On hold for a reason that was probably excluded from disclosure - check if s16 is on the top of the first page. There is also Restricted Notes flag which indicates that you wouldn’t see all GCMS Notes. There might be more clues in the Security section…
