    You will see an update once the OCI is issued . then once shipped from India and then again after recieved here. After this you can start checking the updates in BLS site. For reference my OCI was issued on Jul 4 and shipped on Jul 7. Has not reached Toronto mission yet.

    Seems a system wide issue. My spouse OCI was granted and shipped earlier this week but today morning shows as Pending.

    Can I know which country visa you are applying for? I don’t think it makes sense for BLS to hold your originals when you are applying for visa of a different country.

    Mine changed to UnderProcess today and the Application date changed to today's date So I believe that is the acknowledgement date as per the new portal.

    Anyone applied on or after May 17 and got the acknowledgment date in the new portal? I did in person on May 17 and OCI website still shows the status as PENDING.
