If they reported 40 hours it meansyou were paid for 40 hours of work.being a student i'm working only 20 hours weekly for my current employer but what if my employer mistakenly report my hours worked as 40 to CRA will it land me into any trouble?
employers dont use pen and paper to write your working hours if you are being paid for 40 hours you worked 40 hoursbeing a student i'm working only 20 hours weekly for my current employer but what if my employer mistakenly report my hours worked as 40 to CRA will it land me into any trouble?
no i haven't worked 40 hours i'm just tensed because there are some guys who were telling me that some employers give work to other people who are their closed relatives on your sin so what would happen if my employer paid me for 20 hours and then on my same sin paid another 20 hours to some other person would it cause a problem for me?Well your question doesn't make much sense cause employers don't accidentally overpay someone by 20 hours!
What is your real question?
Have you worked 40 hours and want to know what the repercussions are?
You're just making things up. no i'm not making things man it's serious my friends said to me that if you just to work to a random employer without verification your sin might be used to provide work to other person so some money and if that's happening how can i check that? You're just making things up. If you worked 40 hours, then you worked 40 hours.
Then you're commiting fraud and you might be deported from Canadano i'm not making things man it's serious my friends said to me that if you just to work to a random employer without verification your sin might be used to provide work to other person so some money and if that's happening how can i check that?
Currently i got paycheck of only 20 hours this week but is it possible that employer give pay check to some other person using my sin?

If you are concerned your employer is sharing your personal information, SIN, with other people your employer is probably not someone you should work for.no i'm not making things man it's serious my friends said to me that if you just to work to a random employer without verification your sin might be used to provide work to other person so some money and if that's happening how can i check that?

okay thanks for your clearance so basically as long as i file taxes for 20 hours job i don't need to worry because CRA will spot any type of fraud! If you are concerned your employer is sharing your personal information, SIN, with other people your employer is probably not someone you should work for.
Your SIN is for your name only. If it’s submitted incorrectly on someone else’s paystub the CRA will catch that.
Keep your paystubs and file your taxes.
If you submit 20 hours instead of 40 hours which they have on file, you're commiting fraudokay thanks for your clearance so basically as long as i file taxes for 20 hours job i don't need to worry because CRA will spot any type of fraud!
