Hi, I got acceptance letter from College and paid for first semester. I know that I should have enough money to cover my stay and rest of tution and this is part when my problem starts. I paid for first semester and my parents will be paying for second semester, but now I have on my bank account just about 2000cad... I won´t be paying for accomodation because I will live with my boyfriend who is Canadian and he wrote me a letter saying I´ll be living with him during my school, which will reduce my expences.... My parents doesn´t have more money right now because they are selling our other house and they will get money from it in 4months, but my classes starts at the beginig of May. My question is, it is enough to prove my bank statement and letter from my bf and letter from my parent saying they will pay for second semester, or I have really small change to get study permit like this... I also worked in Canada in past 16months so can I also use a ROE and taxes statement as a proof?

1. No, living with your bf doesn't help, you still need the $10K for living expenses.
2. You have to show sufficient funds for the first year, promises of future funds from your parents sale of their house won't hold much water for CIC.

Relationships break up so you need to prove that you have the funds to support yourself and pay for someplace to live. What was your status for the past 16 months if you were able to work?
