I have not received the official Application Acknowledgment neither by mail nor by email. Is it something unusual? when I check the application status online, it says that "We sent you correspondence acknowledging receipt of your application(s), and a study book called Discover Canada on November 20, 2018" But in reality I did not receive anything.

Also, could you please provide a telephone number that I can use to call from outside Canada to check the status of my application?

How much time generally it takes on test day for everything ( test and interview ). Also do we need to have set of photographs also?
Please if someone can list the document list required to show on test date, will be really helpful.

The test is 30minutes but even when you finish before that time they will wait before every one finishes. But for me l was there for less than an hour. And the interview was just 2 minutes. The officer was really nice. She only looked at my driver’s license, PR card (expired), health card and my passport and nothing else. After that she told me everything is ok with my application and l will receive a letter to attend the oat within a month. And the next day my application went to Decision made.

What was your location? For me its Scarborough in GTA. I guess time depends on the number of people in that particular location also

Finally after 13 months we have moved to Decision Made, I just hope its the decision we want!!

Hoping to hear about our ceremony details in the coming weeks. We moved back home in July 2019, due to work and family commitments, however we will fly back to SK if and when we are offers our ceremony! After a long and painful 13 months we have started to move again!

Thank you for the advice. It was very effective.

Yesterday, I received by email the "Test Invitation" which is scheduled to be next Tuesday October 15th. Although the notice period is very small (7 days), I am excited that they responded with and action immediately.

Wow!! Why so long between test and DM?

They requested police clearance from irl and once submitted, they requested ut a second time saying the first wasnt an original! Both were original that was submitted, and had no charges on either!!!

I just hope its the decision we want!! Lets hope its not another 6 months for the oath ceremony!
