VIsitor Visa expiring today.

Hey guys, my lawyer isn't getting back to my email and im in dire need of submitting this application. I am currently on a visitor visa and about a week out from submitting my PR/open work permit. I live in Canada with my common law partner.

My visitor visa is expiring TODAY and I need to extend it. My lawyer and I looked over my cic account today and it says I have till the end of today to submit it without having to restore it and pay an extra 100. On my application for IMM5708 it is saying that I have to put in a greater date from today for my status to say visitor.

If I have to restore it my status would be other ??? So what would be the other?

Hey, thanks for the reply. the issue isn't how long I intend to stay, under the current country of residence I put Canada because that's where I am and then status as visitor and then they ask you what dates my visitor status is for and they are not letting me upload or validate it because the date is today. even though on my questionnaire on mycic account it is telling me I have till the end of today to submit.

Put in tomorrow and include an explanation.
