I have a BoA account. I no longer live in the US, but all my savings are there. I previously asked for a letter with the format my immigration lawyer asks (Indicating Monthly average, and declaring no debts).CIC doesn't ask for bank statements at all. Attach them only if you think CIC would have any reasons to suspect that your funds could be encumbered.
BoA does not provide that. They simply give a print out with the average amount for the last 6 months. I ask them to sign it, but they say no one in the bank is allowed to sign any document of any kind. My lawyer insists this letter is not good enough. Is there a contact number to get a more complete letter with all the requirements?
Since I am living in China is there any way for me to get a digital letter from here? any ideas on the contact?
Much appreciated. Thank you.
