I did not have one-year work experience while the score was around 443; I got 443 while the scores became 450. I got 465 and now the scores became 470. Is this a sign that God wants to show me...

So sad
Your wait should end soon. If the next draw is on Jun 12th, you should get an ITA!
In the worst case scenario, 2nd draw of June is when your wait would end.

Additional degree will take an year atleast. Do you think cutoffs will stay in 470's or will go to 490+ by then?. Considering 2021 is the last year of EE there might be a last minute influx of people
Where did you get this information about the EE discontinuation?o_O

Guys, I have a doubt, I had updated my profile today at 6.30 pm IST the CRS score immediately updated to 475 points, my profile was created on 1st February 2018. Would I be getting an ITA in the draw that was held today or it would go for the subsequent draw?

470 is way too high, I guess because of the huge gap from the last EE draw on May 1 to May 29.

Best of luck to everyone here. Don't loose hopes.

I hope I get an invitation by tomorrow morning, fingers crossed.

Cut offs this year would predominantly be staying in the 450s not in the 470s if they continue with 3350 ITAs. Today's was an anomaly due to the 4 week gap draw.

The number of applicants have been increasing each year as Canada has become the most favored destination for immigrants in the last few years. So, cut offs could go higher even with 3350 ITAs but maybe into 460s in the next 2 years if the influx increases.

490 cut off is only possible if they decrease the number of ITAs significantly, which does not seem like an option now with the targets but you would want to keep a close look out on the after election situation before concluding anything as targets can be changed.

Also, 2021 is not the last year of EE, the targets have been set till 2021 as of now. There is no plans as of now to discontinue EE.

If we go back to targets, they were for permanent residents, whereas on this forum, we track ITAs. None of us can say with certainty, but it is possible that CIC is on track for miscellaneous reasons.

There can be increase in ITAs and three can also be more frequent one week draws. But I would recommend everyone to not hook on to these hopes.

When we hope, we dream and when the hopes don't come true, the dreams get shattered. Therefore, we all should always prepare for the worst.

Coming back to CRS cut-off scores, it seems it may not go below 450 ever in future. The 450-455 backlog could always be thick enough to not let the cut-off go back to 440s. We should expect 455 as the steady-state CRS cut-off and prepare accordingly.
