AOR Received.
17-09-2018
My timeline is:
AOR - 23rd September
Medicals Passed - 25th October
IP1 around the same time and then silence - No update.

I called now and the agent said that nothing new. The eligibility is under review and my file is in Ottawa and thats it. :(
It has been almost 6 months and still in IP1 :( Anyone in the same boat as me?
Same Case, Aor September 17

Does the Application Assignment due date on GCMS notes has any importance/effect?
None as per me!
My Application Assignment Due Date says 2019/01/07. I ordered notes well after this date. As per my notes, nothing moved on or after this due date.

Finally manage
Same here. I've been trying to call IRCC and I can't get through to an operator. The automated menu just gives me the same info "background check not started yet." AOR is September 14.
Finally managed to get through to an agent. Apparently, my file says "eligibility passed", but the BGC has not started. They said that if there is no response from the Ottawa office by the end of the month (which would be 16 days after the 6 month mark) they would send them a message to make sure the process is moved along. While there is still no movement, I think it is still good news. At least now I know what to expect.

I called cic 1 month before so the status at that time was;
Eligibility- recommended passed
Security-not started
Criminality-in progress

7 days to go to reach 6 months
The other parts are not yet done or passed so it might take few days to few weeks more. You just have to wait.

Does the Application Assignment due date on GCMS notes has any importance/effect?
None. The most important parts in the gcms notes are in the Activity and Notes section. In my case though, the “update date” and “updated by” of docs have been updated after transfer to local vo. And the “eligibility review required” changed to “eligibility met”. This was done before the application due date. I noticed this because already ordered 2 notes so far.

Good news! Hopefully you hear from them soon.

I don't think anyone here can say how long it will take. Unfortunately, there is nothing we can do except to wait. My application has been "recommended passed" since December (and is pending) and no further updates since then (so that's at least 2 months since the recommended pass by the analyst). I called in January and no updates in my file. Total processing time will be 6 months in 2 days.
