Work Permit Documentation

Greetings everyone,

i'm new to this forum this is my very first post. i would like to know about work visa documentation , as i'm NOC O catagory job applicant on position of restaurant Manager.
My LMIA is been approved by employer through help of immigration lawyer .
He/ Lawyer is suggesting to put up application from within Canada and his logic is behind that it will take lesser time compare to application submission from India.
so please help me to understant this .
and what sort of documents do i have to gather for Work Permit .

It depends where are at the moment. If you are in India you have to apply from there. If you are in Canada or you can a visitor visa you can apply at any Canadian international airport or threw flag poling

Hello guys, am from Nigeria, and I just got my Canada Visa today, though I applied for both me and my wife, but my wife visa is still under progress because of her medical assessment,

I have done my own before I applied for work permit, but I applied for visiting for my wife, so i thought she wouldn't need the medical assessment because her visiting will not exceed six months, but now it is been required to be provided,

Now my visa has been given to me, and the job resumption date is 17 of September, 2018, and my wife visa is yet to be approved, but we have enrolled for the medical assessment, and the assessment will not be carried out until 18th of September, 2018

Can I wait for my wife visa to be issued then go together with me after a month later or I should go, and ask her to meet me there later, Please I need your advice. Thanks

May I please know what to is Flagpoling . And how does it work .

Flagpoling is going to any Canadian land boarder with US. You will drive to US side and tell them you want to apply for visa and want to do flag poling. They will give you a slip and send you back to Canadian side. Then you can stop at Canada side immigration office and give your documents to them and tell them you want to apply for work permit. They will check your all documents and interview you. The. You will be issued a work permit right there.

I guess she have to wait till her visa get approved and later she will Join you that will be best for both of you

My extention was declined, and new application after the decline was also decline with misrepresentation IRPR(40)(i) What can I do? it over a year now, and I have invested so much in Ontario though not up to the financial requirement of Self employed

I'm assuming you got the 5 year ban due to misrepresentation. If so, you need to hire an immigration lawyer in Canada to try to overturn this. Unless it's overturned, you need to forget about Canada for the next 5 years. What was the exact reason for the misrepresentation?
