Hi guys I guess I need some help here and, many thanks.
My AOR is last Oct.2, then got a request letter Oct 16 require my common-law's PCC since she had been in Thailand in 1 year. We sent request to Thailand Police office instantly. However we failed to get the PCC within 2 months so we attached an explanation letter where we should attach the PCC; while after one week we got the PCC but we have no where to upload. So we uploaded the scanned copy of Thailand PCC through IRCC Webform (nowhere else to upload to application system since explanation letter uploaded instead). After days I got email saying "We are pleased to confirm the reception of your document. We have forwarded it to the responsible office for their consideration." Now my status is like below:
Application status: We are processing your application. We will send you a message when there is an update or if we need more information from you.
Review of eligibility: We are reviewing whether you meet the eligibility requirements. Help - Review of eligibility
Review of medical results: You passed the medical exam.
Review of additional documents: Not applicable.
Interview: You do not need an interview. We will send you a message if this changes.
Biometrics: We do not need your fingerprints. We will send you a message if this changes.
Background check: We are processing your background check. We will send you a message if we need more information.
Final decision: Your application is in progress. We will send you a message once the final decision has been made.
So here are the questions:
1) should I assume this is at stage IP2, according to the BC status?
2) my friend applied almost the same date (early last October), her status is almost the same with mine except for Review of additional documents- hers is "We dont need additional documents." I checked forum and guys say NA is not a problem, but I am now thinking, there is actually not a way for me to check whether they have my common-law's PCC through IRCC Webform. That might be the reason of difference between mine and my friends' status?
