My Express Entry application has been cancelled :(

Hello,

I am new to this forum, and I have some questions,

My story is long, and this is the short version:

I have been nominated for Ontario in 17-Aug-2017 then received the ITA and sent my application in 09-Oct-2017

After a month I received a cancellation on my Express Entry account because of the dates written on police certificate!!

Then, I have successfully issued a new certificate with correct dates, I am trying to apply again. However, I am very afraid to get another cancellation because the nomination will expire in 17-Feb-2018, so this is my last change to apply for Express Entry using this nomination…

I tried to call Cohen’s office to handle my file to a lawyer there but they refused and said that they don’t handle an application that has been previously rejected.

Please answer my questions to help me NOT getting cancelled again:

1 - My application got canceled because of a police certificate with few months missing, at what stage is this checked?

My question is, does that mean all the application is ok except for this?

2 - My bank statements shows enough proof of fund for the past 6 months. However my salary is handed in cash, so there no bank statements showing deposits or salary every month, I sent only pay slips to Ontario nomination and they accepted my application.

Do CIC Express Entry accept people with cash salary?

3 - During my first job in Jordan, one of my duties was to travel a lot to Syria to do some work there, the experience letter from this company is issued from company’s main office in Jordan, is that a problem?

4 - We did all the medical exams and the results were good EXCEPT that the doctor wrote a notice that my daughters have lice (a small bug that lives in head), it spreads quickly and can be healed easily…

Will Canada reject our application because of lice???
Do we have redo all the exams again?

5 - Our Jordanian police certificates that we issued in September are valid for one year, do we have to issue new police certificates? or do they accept it as long as it is valid from the issuing country?

Thank you all.

2. Yes, as long as you have the pay stubs.
3. Not a problem. Don't forget to submit a Police Certificate from Syria if the total visits add up to 6 months or more.
4. Not a problem.
5. For IRCC purposes, the police certificate is valid for 6 months only (forget about the expiry date written on the certificate).
Good Luck!

Experience certificates are valid indefinitely. Just make sure they have the required details - job responsibilities corresponding to the NOC, salary, dates of employment, hours worked, contact details etc and is on the company letterhead. If any info is missing, provide alternative evidence (e.g. affidavit from colleagues), tax filings, pay stubs. Explain in LOE.

Thank you for explanation, I have all the details you mentioned on my certificates, and Ontario has already gave me the Ontario nomination.

However, i am asking about my current job, the experience certificate was issued on 12-Jul-2017, and I am still working in the same company, do I need to issue a new experience certificate?

For current job, the letter should be as recent as possible. I'd try to get a new one as July one is old.

Agree with the above, you will need to get an updated letter for the current job. Good luck!

Hi again,

I have another question please...

How do i transfer my medical exams from my old EE profile to the new one???
my medical exams have a UMI number and "e medical" logo on top.

I tried to call the doctors that made the exams, and they said they only send the medical exams to CIC, and that is only what they do.

Should i send exact same papers to the new EE profile?
or there is some kind of another procedure to do it?

Medicals are valid for 1 year. If there are still 6 months left, you can send them the same medical info sheet. If less, then it may be better to take medical exams again and use the new info sheet the doc gives you. I say 6 months because the PR processing takes 6 months on average.
