RCMP Criminal record check

hello everyone,
i have been trying to get some information on how to get a RCMP Criminal record check as i have got a mail from cic asking for the same.i would request everybody to suggest me on how to obtain one as i am in India and not sure of the method to obtain.your help would be really appreciated.i am a CEC outland applicant.Thanks in advance

If you are a citizen of India:

If you live in India:
For residents of Punjab: You can apply to your local Senior Superintendent of Police, or the senior ranking police official at the police station in your district.

For residents of Delhi: You can apply at your local district police station or online on the Delhi Police website. The website will list what information and documents you need. If you apply online, your certificate will be returned to you electronically.

For residents of other states: You can apply at your local district police station.

For all residents of India: You can apply for a Police Clearance Certificate from the Passport office on the Passport India website. The website will list what information and documents you need.

Abhimaan is asking about RCMP check for Canada I feel your response is for Indian police check
For RCMP, it should be different as he needs to provide 10 finger prints etc.

I got a police check from local police station (calgary police services). Later I found out that RCMP check is different....just FYI to prevent any trouble later.
