Hi, everyone. I have struggle with answer so decided to make a new thread.

So i am international student on extended study permit wich expire in November! I want to flagpole PGWP in Alberta/Montana border, but my TRV is expired the day i graduated at the begining of August. My question is next:

1. Can i do it (flagpole pgwp) with expired TRV (i have US visa)?

2. Most important question is can i return back to Canada in case i will be refused in PGWP with current study permit and expired TRV? What is important is that i graduated already so there is no "legal" reson for me to come back thats what I worried about. Officer can just say there is no reason for you to come back and/or pgwg refused so i will be no-land-man. Thanks!

It is in theory possible, if you have both a US vis and a Canadian visa. That way you can just go to the border to get your study permit. If youo don't have a Canadian visa, you would probably need to stay longer in the US and apply for a visa from there.

Ok, i did it. I went to border with valid study permit without TRV after i officially graduated. No question asked, 3 year PGWP was issued. Good luck!
