I am living in Quebec and I received the CSQ for my mother.

I have two issues.

1. It's kind of not clear what is the next step. Will she receive a letter for the medicals ?

2. I tried to link my account as well through "MyCIC" but to no avail. Maybe for Quebec is different.

If anybody knows anything please let me know.

Thank you

Does anyone know how to send scanned copy of PCC? is it reply to same email correspondence we received? Please advise.

TIA
Hi vividind,
As it is a long weekend I guess not many are checking the website. Else I have found many folks sharing their advice.

Most probably the PCC copy needs to be sent to Ottawa email address and originals to the LVO or may be upload on IRCC..Not sure though..I am sure someone will share their experience soon.

I received the Medical exam request in mid July, but hasn't received the request for criminal records or fee payment. Is this normal? Thought they all come together .. Thanks

If you haven't received any communications from the Visa office where your file was transferred, you have to wait until they do. They will send you email or mail depending on what you provided asking for medical and PCC. Quebec will already have sent the CSQ to CIC but you may be required to send a copy as well later on. All you can do now is wait for a communication from CIC.

Is RPRF or landing fee refundable if someone doesn't get through medical and the fee is already paid. Will CIC refund the fee?

Looks like Ottawa office has slowed down again. My parents application status on ECAS changed to "In process" on 20th July and till date we haven't received any medical request...

ECAS details:

1. We received <parent name> application for permanent residence on January 2, 2015.
2. We started processing <parent name>'s application on July 20, 2016.

:( :( :(

No luck with MyCIC to link application. Tried everything.

I did not receive any corespondence from CIC since April 2015 (AOR). Did not hear back from my MP either. Don't know what to at this point.
Any suggestions.

But can we do an up-front medical exams and PCC, or should we wait for the CIC email?

I would say it's better to wait. You can prepare the PCC and do the medical exams right away after they request it because honestly I don't think doing them upfront will accelerate the process. They will deal with your application when they get to it an when they do you'll definitely have emails from them. Just be patient

Hi, i submitted my mom's application to midi and today they charged the fee (credit card notification).

1. How long roughly it takes after this step to CSQ?
2. Our file transferred to London office, so how long would it take from CSQ to PR?

thanks

1.Usually it's 25 business days from day they charge the credit card.
2. From CSQ to PR, there's no specific time, depends if you have completed the medicals and PCC and paid the RPRF.

My advice is to wait as it''s just a week from when medicals are done until the results are sent to CIC so that really won't make any difference in terms of processing times. When they request medical, you'll be sent a specific form with parents info that you have to present to the Medical center, it's prefilled so there's no room for error, better that way.
