Quick heads-up for anyone currently waiting in this timeline who hasn't been approved yet: IRCC has been ruthlessly strict with digital photo dimensions lately.
If you get hit with a 'rejected' status in the coming weeks, it is usually because the digital file your photographer sent you had its 600 DPI metadata stripped by standard email compressors, which triggers the automated IRCC validator to fail it. A manual review/resubmission will add 4 to 8 weeks to your wait time.
To prevent this, I built a free client-side tool (no server uploads) called DocPixelKB. If you have to resubmit, run your raw file through the 'Canada PR' preset there first. It forces the exact 600 DPI JFIF header and 50x70mm ratio back into the image so the portal accepts it immediately
