Do you guys know anything about Sdyney Office? Are they really slow ? I called IRCC this morning. He told me my my case is in Sdyney office

I think everything starts from Sydney office, plus not sure if office can be termed as slow. I would think it is application which decides the speed - extensive travel, background of application etc etc.
BTW did IRCC confirm on AOR dates? Is it really 21st July or is it 21st June ?

Sydney office is the main center where all the applications gather or arrive the first time before it gets rerouted to other IRCC offices, its is the slowest office in dealing with everything. I still see few late June folks have not received their AOR.

Hi All . i applied for my parents for citizenship in late july this year. both 55+. Get AOR for both last week. Now i assume it will take 8 month before they call for ceremony. I check the timing in cic portal. Thats what they are telling. So till April we good on plane to travel abroad , trip to india etc ?

How long do they plan on being abroad over all trips? Do they plan on multiple trips/destinations or one trip to India?

it is for 3-4 months. Meanwhile we get finger print request next day for my father. . thanks for the reply

No updates as of Oct 19. I've seen people applied in Sept and got their AOR, while there's no update on my application yet. Getting kinda concerned.

No, nothing yet. I am seeing people from late July and September getting Test invites etc.

Almost ever month has some exceptions and consider all of us in that same bracket. My friends with mid July and August got their AORs and July one completed the test as well. I still see few folks from June waiting just for their AORs. We are just the lucky chosen ones. WAITING, WAITING and have just stopped checking my emails now! Sending good vibes to everyone and I am positive few of us will start getting AORs this week onwards. We are all on the same boat just few more weeks! Cheers.
