Biometrics was done back in Oct 2025 but no medical request recieved yet
My parents are here since Jan 2026
Should I get GCMS notes? Anyone has any idea what should be done or is this normal

That means they have passed eligibility. You only submitted the application in August 2024 so you are still within normal processing times. IRCC often doesn’t ask for medicals to be completed until later in processing because they try to minimize how many times people have to repeat their medicals. Are they visiting Canada on a regular visitor visa or a supervisa? If a supervisa when did they complete their medicals for it?

Medical Done - Apr 16, 2026 (Inside Canada)
Medical updated on portal - Apr 25, 2026
The only pre-arrival we got was on Feb 28, 2026. Nothing after medical.

Yes. Medical done outside of Canada has 12 months validity.

No. Generally biometrics are valid for 5 years and for some programs/stream 10 years.

Biometrics done in June 2025
Biometrics done in June 2025 and also shows the Biometrics number in the summary on top. In the details still shows (even though it was submitted)

Oct/2023 applicant here Still stuck in background checks like most people (no military/diplomatic background). You guys should check out the PGP 2023 thread, and not hold your breath! :')
