2025 PR Application Timeline

I think the timeline will not be so much different by considering after reducing the backlogs from this one time initiative program plus yearly available quota. So, let's hope and pray for the best and do what we could by contributing the community for giving us a chance to continue our lives here.
we are talking about IRCC, they will finish the one-time thing and it will take 3+ years again to process PRs. I already contribute to this country by being a healthcare provider and I am grateful more than anything to Canada and it's people, but it doesn't change the fact that IRCC is very unfair.
I don’t think this means IRCC will finish all 115,000 cases first and then start processing newer applications.
The 115,000 is an extra one-time initiative to reduce the older backlog. IRCC is still processing newer applications at the same time. Their current processing-time tool even shows newer applicants how many people are ahead of them and how many months are estimated to remain.
The numbers also show that the backlog has been dropping much faster in the last two months.
Of course, IRCC processing times can change, but I don’t see anything in this announcement saying newer applications will wait 3+ years.
Thats good. I applied in august, x number in November, nothing since yet. I called IRCC today and its still a prospective file. Feeling a bit frustrated
I just call to ircc before connecting to an agent there is an automated info about the application every time when i called before the automated voice tell me that they are reviewing my eligibility and processing my background but now today when i call them the automated voice do not tell any info about my profile instead it said to serve you better we are transferring your call to agent.any body knows why this happen ?
I have consultant.is there way to link application other than gckey ? Because I tried Gckey and I cant linked it there.
There is important point: Montreal handling your file doesn't necessarily mean Montreal will take as long as a Quebec-resident application. IRCC says applications are automatically considered under that initiative based on available space.
