@makintosh - We spoke with an attorney who told us following Option A is not advised as the visas foils are invalidated once we notify IRCC of the newborn. So we followed Option B. Here's the timeline. Can you share yours?

PPR Received: 6/5/2025
Newborn Born On: 7/7/2025
IRCC Responds via Email with List of Forms and Documents to Submit: 7/22/2025
Submitted Documents: 7/29/2025

Since then, it's been radio silence. I've called and they've said documents have been received and are being reviewed, and have asked to sit tight, and wait. Last update in the Notes is from 7/22/2025.

Did you receive Passport request for yourself, your spouse and the baby? If yes, could you please share the timeline. I am in the same boat and would like to know how long is this going to take?

Hello! After uploading all the docs through webform I received a PPR for all (myself, spouse and the baby) within 45 days.

24 April 2026 – Received 1st PPR from IRCC/RROC.
28 April 2026 – Raised webform regarding the newborn, including the birth certificate.
26 May 2026 – Raised another webform with the newborn’s birth certificate and passport.
1 June 2026 – Received IRCC response with instructions/documents required for adding the newborn.
5 June 2026 – Submitted the complete newborn add-on package through webform.
20 July 2026 – Called IRCC. They confirmed that there had been no visible activity on the file after 5 June, but the submitted documents were attached to the application.
8 July 2026 – received PPR

Did you receive Passport request for yourself, your spouse and the baby? If yes, could you please share the timeline. I am in the same boat and would like to know how long is this going to take?

Have not received PPR as of today, or any significant update. Case seems to be stuck. We are considering Mandamus lawsuit.
