hi my rtd expired months back i just want to re apply it. can anyone help me with that, i don’t want to make any mistake tho..!
1. Download the application Form PPTC 190 – Adult Travel Document Application:
2. Complete the form
Fill it out on a computer if possible.
Print and sign all required sections.
Leave nothing blank unless instructed.
3. Get 2 passport photos
Must meet Canadian passport photo specifications.
One photo must be signed by your guarantor.
4. Find a guarantor
The guarantor must:
Be a Canadian citizen with a valid Canadian passport.
Know you personally for at least 6 months.
Sign your application and one photo.
5. Get 2 references
Two people who have known you for at least 6 months.
Cannot be family members.
6. Prepare supporting documents
Include photocopies of:
PR Card (if you have received PR)
eCOPR or COPR or Refugee Protection documents or any government-issued photo ID (Driving Licence or Photo ID).
7. Pay the fee
Current adult RTD fee is CAD $122.50. Print and include the payment receipt.

8. Mail the application
Send the complete package by courier or registered mail to the address listed in the application guide. IRCC recommends a traceable mailing service.
9. Wait for processing
Processing times vary. You can check current service standards online after submission.
Important
Since your old RTD is already expired, you generally do not need to send it with the application. The form asks for non-expired travel documents issued within the last 5 years. Good luck
