You can travel after submitting your citizenship application and throughout the process. However, you must be physically present in Canada for the oath ceremony, even if IRCC schedules it online. There are no exceptions to this requirement.

As for the citizenship test, if you are outside Canada when you receive the test invitation, you can contact IRCC and request permission to take the test from abroad, and you will get the approval to do so.

If the physical presence section in your application showing green color with a message Congratulation that you met the physical presence requirement, you are ready to apply. No worry

I would recommend to wait at least a few extra days, ideally 10-14 days, just in case their calculation does not match yours (this is especially true if you travelled outside Canada).

Curious… For the online test, does anyone know what the experience is? Do u get a link, u login to that link and u show ur ID to camera and then press start? Do u have to spin ur camera around the room?

Just wanna know in advance, as before i leave the room and have her do the test by herself. Whats the experience like, getting logged into test? Any video or screenshot available?
