Not really possible to say. Fingerprints are for criminality, and you can receive a second request after it expires whether security has concluded or not, and it all depends on the security screening : if it's finished, you're very close to the finish line, if not, well, the fingerprint request doesn't change anything at all to your timeline really. But in general, most people here have gotten to the finish line in 2.5 years or so, so you're getting there...

Dec 6th got 2nd finger print request

My tracked updated after almost 2 years says background complete and then again in progress because my fingerprints expired and i got fingerprints request. I got my notes yesterday and it says all clearances have passed

When was your BG was marked as completed on portal, before or after you got your finger print request?
And have your finger print request came from Digitization & Identity Operations Division (DIOD)?

I got fingerprints on 8th of April and BG completed on 9th April which again turned into in progress, Yes i got the email from DIOD,

Im planning to fly out of Canada next month but im confused now should i go or wait for the final decision

Depends on when you want to fly and for how long, as soon as your FP reaches them they will mark you BG Completed and schedule your Oath. Probably your oath might be anywhere between 7 to 10 weeks.

Did you submit your fingerprints ? Im the same time line as you i submitted it the same day i got the request. I need to travel on july 10th and im hoping this ordeal will be done before then
