you might see something soon. Based on the current trend, if you are in Toronto or GTA, testing team is team 3, then depending on which office your file is pending with (Scarborough/Mississauga/Etobicoke), turnaround time is quick - between 7 and 21 days. In most of the forums it is mentioned that Scarborough is not just the largest, but also the fastest and most efficient IRCC office in all of Canada.

AFAIK, LP is checked at CPC Sydney at time of AoR. If physical present or language looks odd to them, they return the application; if not, one gets AoR. LPP will be checked again later when file moved to their primary office for further processing. All applications by default go to CPC and then are transferred to the other citizenship grants office closest to the applicant's region.. that is why when one links the application to the tracker for first time, LPP is always seen as in-progress because it's checked at AoR as well.

Sometimes there is delay when the application is transferred from CPC and when the officer starts looking at the application. A common case is when FP involved. For instance:

AoR --> FP (file remains at CPC till they hear back from RMCP)
AoR --> FP --> FP submitted ---> RCMP Receives it --> RCMP checks and updated to CPC --- > Citizenship Test (say team3 for GTA) ---> Citizenship test completed

If file is still at CPC while the citizenship test happens, LLP is still shows in-progress.
Ghost update (file transferred) --> LPP is rechecked finally at the new primary office before marking completed.

If no FP, then it depends on when the file was transferred from CPC + if/when BGC is completed. One can simply know their primary office by calling IRCC. Also, some offices after getting transferred are quite slow, I don't know if officers are just lazy or waiting on something.

And If other citizenship grant applications pile up at that same new office, we see some people getting their LLP completed fairly quick than others. Or if there is other steps/checks on the application pending or waiting.

Bottom line is that most/all of November 2025 applicants are still within the processing timeline of citizenship grant application. Of course no one minds getting their application granted at the earliest, but that's how IRCC is.. when stressed, no nails are left to bite.
