Hi All,

I am sponosring PR for my 2 months old baby. Does he need to have the national identity document (Aadhaar card in India)? As I see the status of the form:- IMM 0008 is not changing to "Ready to submit" unless I say the he has the national id and provide the details. Can someone please clarify?

I actually did a deeper research and I recommend Manulife (Visitors to Canada Basic plan) or Tugo (Basic Visitors to Canada plan). They are waaaay cheaper than Cigna and coverage is pretty much the same.

my daughter entered Canada on May 25, 2025 so by Nov 25 we are supposed to apply for her visit visa extension but I did not apply and took the risk.

Long silence

January 2026 - called the IRCC office to know the update: Agent told everything is set, based on the queue her file will be processed.

Thats all. We are moving to Ottawa from Winnipeg and waiting to get her PR card.
