Anyone who knows
I am someone who has been through difficult situations in life, I know what it means when life gives you lemons (because when life puts you through hardships, you are meant to become more compassionate toward others, not to take out your stress and anxiety on people who are also vulnerable....). I encourage you to stay positive and to remember that you will be rewarded for every hard moment you go through. Who knows? There may be changes in your favor, which is quite likely from a legal standpoint (particularly under administrative law like immigration law).
If you are in an urgent situation, you can try to put pressure on Quebec immigration authorities by sending a letter of explanation or by seeking assistance from your provincial Member of Parliament.
Alternatively, it is possible for you to settle in Ontario, although it is not as advantageous as it used to be, since processing times outside Quebec are also quite long. However, your case might be expedited given that it was submitted a long time ago. You may also be able to access the Ontario health insurance card (they might tell you no, but I am quite certain it is possible).

Good luck to your mother hope she will become a well-integrated and loyal citizen of Canada !!!

Hi, I called MiFi to ask about my CSQ application that was submitted, and the agent said they received it in March 6th and it was « confirmed » on March 20th. Is this possible? What does confirmed even mean? Does it mean accepted? I called again to clarify and the second agent had even less information?? TIA

cunt @iSaidGoodDay these are evidences not something from my pocket, enjoy with looking ur shamful country

Well, look up incarceration data and check your own representation there in Canadian jails. What your representation has done in Canada has thousand times bigger. Keep solidifying your deportation with remark, pig! Marking you ignore and moving on with my lovely life! :*

My philosophical take - I'd say that life in general doesn't work like that. In general there are things that make someone more compassionate:
1. hardship can lead to a better character, but only if someone responds well to it. Most people don't and the retention of the character is questionable to a large degree for even those who temporarily acquire it.
2. Suffering won't lead to empathy simply because intentional practice to cultivate compassion is missing from most people. This thread is a big example of it. Most participants of this thread are extremely selfish, ignorant and clearly lack compassion. Ironic for a H&C thread.

What echoes throughout the forum from what I see is "I suffered, so why shouldn't you" or more similar narratives. There's barely any compassion. Enduring hardships is not the same as reflecting on hardships - the ones who do the later develop character, most don't!

Exactly ! ! We see people relentlessly attacking humanitarian considerations as if they were the cause of their misfortune or the reason behind Canada’s deteriorating situation (people who claim to be liberal, yet come from Canadian nationalist backgrounds... ) Even though it doesn’t concern them at all (AT ALL ! they have absolutely no connection with immigration and especially not to this humanitarian pathway for regularization).
In reality, the chaos surrounding humanitarian considerations is the result of what’s happening globally, in a world that has become so destabilized, chaotic, and fragmented !

There's this author, Rene Girard, he wrote "mimetic theory" - a lot of what you see around is that in action. Trust on authorities is lower across the world, connectivity has increased - so, net stabilizers are dying down and everything is extreme chaos. Rene predicted this long time back. Worth a read to gain sanity in this pretty much weird state of the world.

To most who are in any limbo, I'd suggest pick a hobby (running, cycling, do a DJ course for free, learn a new instrument, etc). Time flies at the end of the day, we don't control what's to come, but you do control what you can do with the time at hand. Every quarter, I learn 2-3 new things and honestly, it cuts off useless things from my life.
