Scheduled for Oath - Sep 17,2025

Appointment : Received online Oath Ceremony ( Vancouver, BC ) - Oct 21,2025
( rescheduled to in-person Oath )

In-Person Oath (at Surrey, BC) - Pending

Anyone in the same boat ?

Also, I got an email for passport pilot application on Oct-16, which I submitted on Nov-30.

Hi. I hope you receive your in-person oath ceremony soon! I'm on the same boat - but requested in-person to virtual oath ceremony where the initial ceremony was scheduled for Dec 2, 2025. But till date, no updates regarding a new date. What I've learned about rescheduling oath ceremony is that I believe IRCC does not like people requesting rescheduling/change and purposely delay the process of providing a new date. If I would have known this before, I would not have requested for change.

I received oath email yesterday for Jan-21. Previous zoom date was Oct-27. Almost 3 months.
I wish you will get yours too.

Hi @sai_chaitanya2001 Can you give me their email address? Is that email address for rescheduling oath the same for everyone? I'm residing in Toronto, Ontario.

I had a virtual date (see signature) and requested a shift to in person date also.

It was reflected in my tracker on February 23 after some email communications on the 20th.

I got a ghost update today, March 13, hoping that means something. Did anyone keep track of ghost updates while waiting for their in-person invite? Is this good news?

To me, ghost updates are usually an indicator of something happening on the backend.

My case is slightly different! After they invited me for the virtual oath, I requested an in-person one. The next day, they responded with a new date. And several days later, I saw that new date on the tracker.
I never saw a ghost update on my account, so I don't know, but I think yours is a good indicator!

Now I know several cases around me, I don't think that they purposefully delay to give us a new date (just my thought, I don't have proof haha). My coworker requested to change from in-person to virtual and they responded after several hours. Her new date is 1-week after the old one!
Keep in mind that she lives in GTA, Ontario, so this might be faster than most cities in Canada.
