So, when they conduct the prohibitions and background check etc, are they digging into everything from scratch again? because without having done that they would not have even granted pr in the first place, right? so are they only checking the period between pr and now? (e.g. criminal convictions etc in this period) or are they checking everything again, military service in country of origin, criminality of candidate and family in the past etc?? also with language requirement, they already made sure that applicants fulfil that criterium in the pr process. no?

This is such a valid question. I would love to know as well.

Got my Oath invite for March 27th. I'm not sure if it's virtual or in person. But if it's virtual, I'm planning to change it to in person.
You could check for in-person ceremonies happening in your Province and city here: https://secure.cic.gc.ca/ceremonyceremonie/en/Home
If you do not see any ceremonies happening on March 27 in your nearest city/IRCC office, you could assume that your ceremony might most likely be virtual. At least that was the case for me. However, I think this site only has the dates up to 1-2 weeks ahead.

Agreed. I checked the site and it showed dates only until March 14th.
