If I was studying at a DLI (Not PGWP eligible) and completed 30 credit hours/4 semesters then transferred to another DLI (pgwp eligible ) and completed the rest of my 60 credit hours there and graduated from the pgwp eligible dli , am i getting a 3 year pgwp?

How long is second program? So you are allowed to transfer credits to a non eligible school to another? What schools? You cannot change DLIs without a new study permit and cannot study at second school until approved. You have to justify changing DLIs and may be refused.

I am at U of Manitoba but I am asking for a friend whos at ICM, he is about to finish his ICM program and transfer to UofM. His program at UofM should be 2 years and a half or 2 years. He will be graduating with a bachelor.

So he cannot transfer. He needs a new study permit with PAL. He will get PGWP based on his degree at U of M.

I am at ICM too , he would get his pgwp based on his u of m degree but he would’ve studied for 3 years in total but 2 years at u of m so how many years would his pgwp be?

Should be 3 years since received a degree but will only know when approved. Has your new study permit been approved?

True that , that’s why i found the question interesting but based on what IRCC says , as long as you study for 8 months at u of m, both durations should count. I mean it is a bachelor at the end of the day.
Ask those who went to ICM and then U of M. yes it is a bachelor degree so should be 3 years but rules can change tomorrow.

Most people i know went on to study 4 year degrees including me so he is in a kinda tricky situation. Honestly I think they've made enough restrictions already hahaha , we just had MITT close yesterday I believe.
