September 2025 - Citizenship Applications

any recommendations for preparation material? except discover canada.

I used these with the decreasing intensity:
- Citizenship App on iOS, both learning material and mock tests. A lot of them. I think you need to pay for the app, but it was worth it.
- Richmond library mock tests (slightly different question framing)
- Discovery Canada printed book.

The test itself felt a little different (and frankly slightly easier) from the Citizenship App, but all topics are the same.

Just passed the test today, 19/20. During the test the website said it can't connect to my camera or internet and kicked me out. I entered application number and UCI and got back in, then finished the test. Now debating with myself whether I should go for the second attempt right away without waiting for them. What do you all think?

Was using latest MacOS with Safari.

Congratulations! Why would you wanna go for a second attempt when you got the result that you passed? The test result must have gotten registered on their end right?

Thank you The result was registered. The only reason I would want to do it is because I saw reports online that test results were marked invalid due to technical reasons. I clearly had a technical issue, so I suspect they will invalidate my result, which may cause a delay in processing. Fingers crossed it won't be the case.

Not sure if it's the similar to mine but I faced the same issue yesterday. And today I was able to login but everything looked the same when I checked for any updates.
