Hi, I submitted my application on July 14, 2025.
background check completed
citizenship test completed
language skills completed

but physical presence and prohibitions are still in progress.
I know usually LPP get completed together usually with the same update, so this made go back to my application and I realized that I forgot to add 2 different trips when doing the physical presence calculation.

The 2 trips were made before I was a permanent resident so I should still meet the eligibility requirements. my buffer is 5 days. 1100 days total. (735 as PR)

I submitted a webform to let IRCC this information, hoping to be corrected and not impact the application.

did I do the right thing? any other things I could do?

what's the expected next step? will it get updated (if verified) in tracker or is there likely an interview?

About the only thing you could do is submit a revised physical presence form with ALL trips shown.

Note, you say this was from before you became a PR, were you counting any days from before towards your eligibility?

Separately: I'd suggest ordering your entry/exit records from CBSA. If it comes to checking later, you can see what they have on file. 5 days is a rather slim buffer to have made mistakes in the trips, so it's possible you 'd get invited to an interview. (We had one, wasn't a big deal, they just asked wquestions about the trips and physical presence, seems it was mostly a credibility chcek - but we had everything exactly right.)

Apart from that somewhat higher possibility of interview, I doubt anyone can tell you what next steps are, beyond checking the tracker.

Yes, I counted days I was in Canada as a temporary resident before becoming a permanent resident.
Per IRCC rules, I credited up to 365 days of pre-PR time towards my physical presence.
I have provided all travel periods during that time in my updated physical presence disclosure.

This is a perfect example of why having minimal buffer time often ends up with longer processing than just waiting a few months and then applying. Too late now but may help others if they stumble across this post.

From what I’ve seen, tracker updates aren’t always granular here. IRCC may not “show” the correction as a separate step; it can just reflect later when physical presence/prohibitions get marked complete. If you already sent the webform, adding the revised physical presence calculation as an attachment + a concise cover note is probably the best you can do. After that, it’s mostly waiting and being ready to respond if they request more info.
