Just curious if anyone received any reply from IRCC after sending them demand letter (i.e. the letter requesting them to resume processing in X days otherwise will go with Mandamus)?

This is the first I've heard of a 'demand letter'. Is it an official thing via an attorney, does it work?

It didn't work for me it's a letter the attorney send to IRCC (before kicking off the official mandamus application) requesting them to resume processing

I just received my notes:
A34 Comprehensive check submitted to CBSA April 2025.
Status is In Progress by CBSA since July 2025.

Does anyone know what timeline I should expect?

It has already been 1+ year since I submitted my application.

I dont know what to tell you, mine was is still stuck from Nov 2023, same thing A34 by CBSA.
I dont want to scare you but what I'm seeing at least one year of waiting or more for you, truly I hope Imp wrong.

What I found out from my MP in July is that they are doing my military verification even if I dint go to regular army. I did my service in civilian sector working for one Disability Support Organizations and now I'm paying that price.

I don't know what to tell you, and I can see you are outland applicant, but what I saw for people how get stuck on comprehensive security check is long wait.
