Using Whatsapp for Proof of Relationship

I would like to use whatsapp as part of the texts I am going to send as proof of relationship. The question is if I email the chat to myself so I can print it out from my computer it comes out as a word pad document with nothing showing thats its a whatsapp document. Therefore I would like to please know is there a way I can print out this document so that CPP Ottawa knows if a whatsapp conversation I had with my wife?

If you email it to yourself and then use a zip file app you can print the chats.

If you want to use WhatsApp to show you're in a relationship, just make sure to regularly save your chat history. This way, you have a record of your conversations as proof. But remember, only share what you're comfortable with, and keep things private when needed. Cool?

If you export a WhatsApp chat by email, it’s normal that it comes out as a plain text (TXT) file — WhatsApp doesn’t include any watermark or official label in the exported format.
