We ( myself, husband, brother and parents ) are applying for a tourist visa. Myself, husband and brother we jointly own a business in India. Would like to understand -
1. Alongwith with real estate and business in India what more can be shown as ties to country
2. Are liquid funds accepted as proof of funds - liquid funds are redeemable in a day or so
3. Our main family home is currently undergoing redevelopment and is nearing delivery in the coming year ( the year we also plan to visit canada ) does that qualify as ties to home since we make payments towards the home. Also on this home our businesses are registered, is that any way an issue?
4. My brother is a single individual under 30 years - any additional documents we can show for him apart from income, real estate, business, investment in India, health insurance.
5. Per person we are showing around 9500 CAD for a 3 week stay. Is that ok? We ll be staying with a family member in Canada hence accomodation is taken care of. We ll be getting a letter of invite from them

Thanking in anticipation!

1. You and your husband apply separately from parents and brother. Since brother is over 22 then he has a separate application too. You are not a family application. Ties to return are children under 22, contracts with businesses, business registration, business taxes paid, job letters with approved leave. Business must be in each person's name to be considered a tie.
2. Cash in the bank. You and your husband show your own personal bank statements, and parents show their own. Business accounts are not accepted.
3. Home is not really a strong tie as it can be sold. Show that it is in you and your spouse's names only.
4. He shows his own personal accounts, ties to return and travel history. He is not part of parents application. Given he is single, he has few ties to return. Bank statements must be in his name.
5. It is okay if in personal bank accounts in the name of each person or couple.

Thank you for assisting promptly :)

Got it.
For point no 2 specifically, in that case if we do a redemption of balance available in our liquid funds, will it be treated as a large deposit? Since a substantial money will be credited to our bank accounts but it would still be under our name - not sure if that's ok.

You are showing 3-4 months of personal bank statements. If you are "dumping" money into that account then you need to show their paper trail of where the money came from.
