Need Advice on ECA – ICAS or IQAS for Indian Diploma

Hello everyone,


I have completed a 3-year Diploma in Computer Engineering from Punjab State Board of Technical Education and Industrial Training (PSBTEIT) after 10th. Later, I also completed my 12th through correspondence from the Punjab School Education Board.

In addition, I have done a 2-year Diploma in Computer Studies from Canada.

When I applied for an ECA with WES, they only gave me an equivalency of a “2 years diploma” for my Indian qualification.

Now, I want to apply again for ECA with another organization because my goal is to claim points under the “Two or more diplomas/certificates and one must be 3 years or more” category for CIC.

For this, I need my Indian diploma to be recognized as a 3-year diploma.

Could anyone suggest if ICAS, CES or IQAS would be better in my case?
Are there chances of getting a proper 3-year equivalency for my Indian diploma from them?

Any help or personal experience would be greatly appreciated.

I could not find “transcript transmission method”. What option should i select for Mail/Email/digital platforms? How does PSBTEIT send transcripts to IQAS?

Not yet. It’s currently under process.

I got IQAS evaluation report today and here is the report:

• 12th class → High school diploma
• Diploma → Post-secondary certificate with a focus in computer engineering
  
  
  They have not given full 3 years equivalency for diploma.

WES is usually strict with Indian diplomas, but other agencies like ICAS or IQAS might give a better result. Many people with a 3-year diploma got full recognition from IQAS, so you can try that first.
