Need advise regarding lmia-exempt work permit submitted by employer

Hi guys,

Recently my employer help me to apply for LMIA- exempt work permit after I receive nomination from OINP. When I ask for the receipt number from my HR, she gave me the receipt number start with an O instead of A. What does that mean? Is that a wrong submission?

Please advice. Thanks in advance!

Ask them for the offer of employment number which starts with A. What they gave is is the reciept number which they got from IRCC after paying the fee.

Thanks for the reply. I got it already. Do you know how long usually will get the approval for the work permit? I heard some got it within 2 weeks. It’s that true?

I just applied mine today, I was told now its 227 days.
