Congratulations. Don't forget to sign up to the Federal and Provincial electoral registers. (very easy to do, and you will be added to the list the next day following a check, I had to upload a copy of Driving license)
The passport office will also be super excited for you when you say you are a new citizen (it was a great experience getting the passport sorted as well!!
Awww, thank you!

Want to hear something more depressing?

LPP in progress since June 4 when Background was cleared.

Nothing since then. Almost 5 months gone!

Took almost 5 months after background and test were cleared, got my LPP completed today!

Now the wait for Oath ceremony begins. It's still not started on the status tracker. How much time does it usually take to hear back?

That is very exciting and congratulations. The tricky bit here is that from now on it could be days, weeks or even months to the oath. I waited nearly 2 months for mine whilst others got LPP way after me had their Oaths weeks before me. I was lucky that when my Oath came through it was for the next week so that was really fast.
The best thing is to relax now as it is nearly all done...

Finally got all passports delivered for a family of five. Applied via Service Canada whose timeline is 20 business days (and can be more as per our experience). For anyone who wants their passports processed faster, I advise apply via Passport Office (10 business days)if available in your city.

In all, it was a satisfactory feeling holding the passport which requests unhindered entry to a country whenever I travel as a Canadian citizen.

Cheers everyone!

This gives me hope haha! Im background cleared since June 3 so lets hope. Happy for you

Is there any benefit of calling IRCC checking for status? Or this would be just a try to calm my anxiety and nothing else. I am also worried if this goes negative!. Any suggestion. BG completed July 1 after that deep silence. Language, prohibition and physical presence still pending

Apply for GCMS notes. My background was teR was completed in June and no updates since then I found from GCMS that they have requested for IECS data to validate physical presence.

How long do they usually take to respond to the GCMS notes request?

March 1 applied and no AOR yet? have you called IRCC as this is slightly unusual.

It costs $20 per passport to pick up in 10 business days (no Canada Post).

IRCC released the latest stats as of November 6. While the processing time remains at 13 months, one clear trend is that the number of pending applications continues to rise, now at 290K compared to 283K last month. For March applicants, the backlog dropped from 89,000 to 78,000. These figures might not tell the full story, but it’s evident that new applications are coming in faster than IRCC is processing them.
