i have stopped checking my tracker and this forum daily and decided to check it once a week.
It is frustrating to wait without any progress/update on the application.
I applied on 13th May, AOR was 19th June, test was taken on 1st Aug, test was update on 13th Aug and th BC was completed on 30th Aug. Since then, no update.
I called IRCC a couple of times and the answer was the same “We do not have any update”. Surprisingly, LPP hasn’t even started in 2 months.

I don’t know what they’re checking. I’ve not even been fined in any country let alone have any criminal records. I’ve only left Canada twice since became PR…
Just giving up already, it’ll simply happen when it’ll happen.

Definitely not normal, but there is a a bunch of people here with no BG completed.

I feel you man. I was frustrated Initially when the test was delayed. It took 2 months for my test to arrive from AOR. Prayers and Hope that the files get cleared by Nov/Dec. The Layoff is peaking Having the citizenship opens doors that are otherwise impossible.

Same situation as many of us here — no officer assigned seems to be the issue. I wonder if it’s because they need to review our background check, or is it just an administrative error/slowdown.

I called IRCC to confirm, the agent told me my oath ceremony is scheduled online on NOV. 6.

Got my GCMS notes. Nothing out of the ordinary. My eligibility is assigned to RC-8090 so I guess this person forgot I exist. My primary office is Vancouver, even though I live in Toronto. So I guess I'm with all the rest of the delays from BC office. My criminally says its passed, though my background is still saying in progress. It says my location is “Grant Review Ready PM01”.

If you read around - the notes we get wont supply an individual officer ... but they will identify a processing office. So RC-8090 is a unit ... a Responsibility Centre ... within your assigned location (Vancouver like myself). I personally think it's currently a backlog and or staff shortage slowing that unit/location down.

But hey, currently we aren't the fastest of the fast, but we are also not the slowest of the slow. Just slower than a bunch ... and if you said I'd be done in 6months at the start of all of this, I would have said ... I think more like 8 ... which might end up being true. But it's also not 13 months ... or worse.
