Protected person family kids under 9 years needs Study permit to get their SIN number? How a child under 10 gets study permit ??

Initially they IRCC issued all family members Opem work permit including kids as well. Which was expired , kid’s doesn’t work but they got OWP I don’t know why.

Now I went to service Canada and asked for my Kids SIN for to open kids RESP account they said you must get their status valid in Canada to obtain SIN.

I showed them refugees clamint documents which is valid till 2027 end but they said no apply for study permit ? Is that make scene.

Kids were already going to elementary school since they land into Canada on refugees claimant documents

What should I do know to get their SIN??

Also when I tried to apply their study permits they asked for admission letter from university and other endorsements letter etc…. To upload which makes my crazy ….

Apply for study permits. For elementary and secondary school either get a letter from their school or explain they are attending the local elementary school.
