No, the MP did not give any timeline of any sort. It is recommended that you check CBSA for notes. IRCC has been redacting the Security clearance on their notes, but CBSA showed that my security clearances are all complete.
then you should be okay, if that's done.

has contacting your mp helped in any way? I tried to reach out and recieved no response from them
Reaching out to the MP this time did help me out. I just received a response from them, where they contacted the IRCC, and confirmed that a case officer has been assigned to my application (so it's out of the queue and in active processing), confirmed that Security, Language and Criminality have been cleared and only Physical presence is pending.
They even provided a date by when the IRCC would be able to get back with an update.

I applied for GCM notes like sign up and paid 27 dollars (mentioned there) and shown update 48 hours, don't know the meaning .WAITING

Please can you tell how to contact CBSA gor notes. I think my husband is stuck with security clearance as well.. his last update was 19th march and only test is cleared.. everything else is pending.
Same case with me.

In this make an account and select CBSA and then select the following options, chose *both* of these options
1. Immigration file – Security update
2. Immigration file – GCMS record

u can track the request on the dashboard ...

"I wanted to reach out for your assistance with regards to the matter of my Canadian Citizenship and the fact that my application has been deemed non-routine. While I understand that decision, I do want to let you know that since the last time we communicated, I did receive my notes from CBSA (attached). Per the notes, the CBSA has issued that security clearance for my application has been "Passed" and the status was updated back in February. Is there any reason why IRCC would still be holding my file without a decision? Would it be too much to ask you to reach out to them and get an update?"

As for the details, I got the MP office information on https://www.ourcommons.ca/members/en

I have now received a response from two different MPs, and their turnaround time on average is about 20 days. And they are very responsive.

You can, but they will prioritize people from within their constituencies. In my case, I had an address change, which is why I took advantage and reached out to two MPs.
I can say that the ones in the Toronto region are very quick to respond, and actually helpful.

Looks like I may have some movement. What does it mean when an officer has been assigned to the file and an application deadline given? Do they typically need to meet the deadline?

"Location: Grant Review Ready PM03

Application Assignment
Due date: 2025/10/25
Assigned by: JW6325
Assigned to: NA27832"

This section was previously blank in GCMS notes.

I have not received my notes yet, but tracks similar to what the MP wrote. This probably means that they will have a decision for you on that date.
Congrats.

Thanks for the encouraging response. I won't hold my breath with IRCC and just remain patient. I know the timeline is now 13 months and per the tracker I still have 3 more months to go lol
