Sorry for not being explicit. FD means Final Decision. I'm not sure you'll get an FD email.
This IRCC, is driving me crazy!! How come they jump to the 20th and other applicants are waiting for a single update, it doesn't really make sense!!!!
I didn't mean to imply I didn't understand what you meant, sorry I should have been clearer (adrenaline going crazy right now). I meant that I don't understand what the GCkey update means.
I'm quite certain there will be a massive update in a few days. Most Applicants in August haven't received FD
I think the FD means your application for spousal sponsorship is approved and the process of becoming a permanent residence has been initiated via the portal invitation (P1). Congrats once again
I'm inland Aug 20 2024 I receive this email yesterday . I completed everything except background in process application in Mississauga

Did your Spouse get the same letter, disregarding their sponsor approval?
I wish i have :/ I dont really get it, why is it taking so long for August applicants.
There are no holidays, summer is over for vacations, really weird!!!
