Hello everyone, while applying for non express entry PR the birth certificate I provided didn't had my name. So, I got a new updated one and raised a webform to upload that, but I did not provide any letter of explanation with it. Will there be any issue, or do I need to raise another webform to provide LOE. I did not mention anything regarding missing name in the text box as well. please help me clear this.
Thank you.
@Miss bee can you help me with this.

Thank you, @Miss bee for helping us with our inquiries.

I just have another question, if you do not mind.

We are in Canada already. I am an international PhD student in BC. My spouse is with me in Canada, holding an SOWP. However, earlier this year, she got admitted to grad school, then applied for a study permit, and my spouse had it approved last July. We submitted our Non-EE application to the IRCC while my spouse's study permit application was under processing, and within our PR application, we provided this information along with my spouse's SP application number.

As her SP has been approved and she started her grad school a couple of weeks ago (she is still an SOWP holder as well), do we need to update the IRCC about this change (i.e., the study permit and grad school thing)?

Thanks!

Hi guys,
I applied for the Federal non-express entry program in January 2025 and I didn't include any English exam as my Teer and province did not require one. I'm just wondering if IRCC will possibly request for one when I get my AOR. Thanks.

Yes that was a general system update. and absolutely doesn't mean anything.

If you are stuck in SS for more than 18 months, go ahead with mandamus as I'm in process. I know it's a tough time for specially IRANIAN applicants.
I'm German citizen and still stuck in SS. Unfortunately, Canada is very undeveloped when it comes to SS. there is NO country in the world that takes years or months for an individuals security check except Canada.

Dear @Miss bee

I hope you are doing well. I want to share my summarized timeline as:
27 Feb 2024: PNP Non-EE application submission to IRCC
12 Jun 2024: AOR
24 Oct 2024: ADR on CV and military rec (start of comprehensive SS I guess)
Complete silence after that

I got my first GCMS notes on 10 March 2025. I got the second one today. I compared them (which are 6 months apart), and not a single character is different. Absoulutly NO update and NO new notes. Even my medical is expired about two months ago and I did not receive any email regarding to that as well. Is it possible that my file is lost somewhere? what should I do?

PVO: Sydney, SVO: Montreal
Same here, it seems like either someone dumped our files away or we are assigned to some corrupted agent. There must be a way to raise our (those who are stuck for months in SS) voice honestly.

I'm stuck on SS for 21months and 21 days. I dont know what to do anymore I dont know should I go with mandamus and take them to court or what.

Yes, it is advisable to update IRCC about your spouse’s new study permit and enrollment in graduate school, even though she still holds valid status in Canada as your dependent on a spousal open work permit. Since you had already disclosed that her study permit application was in process when you submitted your PR application, following up now with proof of approval and her new status shows transparency and keeps your application fully up to date. While this change should not negatively affect your PR application—because both permits give her legal status in Canada—it is always safer to notify IRCC of any changes to work, study, or immigration status after submission. This way, you avoid any appearance of withholding information, and it helps ensure that the information in your PR file remains accurate for final decision-making.

Hello @Miss bee

I became PR in July 21 and I am still waiting for my PR cards. It is significantly beyond the PR card processing time as mentioned on the official IRCC website.

I planned to travel and go back to my home country two months later, what should I do?

Thank you very much!

Hello,
I am wondering how you guys reporting 2 concurrent jobs in Personal History under IMM5669. Would you create two consecutive periods in the portal, or list 1 in the portal and include the other in LOE?
Thank you so much!

Hello @Miss bee - thanks for continuously answering our questions here!! Hopefully you can give me an insight on the questions i have regarding the request for additional documents on my pr application.. I would greatly appreciate your thoughts on it..

1. Newly completed Schedule A Background Declaration (IMM5669)

- Previously I answered this with overlapping dates, for example I had an entry for my studies (Sept 2021-Dec 2023) and also had an entry for the internship i was doing (May 2022-Dec2022, Sept2023-Dec2023) is this correct? Should I have not put in overlapping entries?
- What does it mean to not leave a gap in the personal history? On my previous answers i would put in entries like the one below, is this correct that there is no gap here?
  • Jul 2021 - Aug 2021 - Unemployed - Philippines
  • Sep 2021 - Dec 2023 - Studying - Canada
  • Jan 2024 - PRESENT - Working - Canada
- For areas where i do not have any answers (Membership and association with organizations,Government positions, Military and paramilitary service) i put in 'none' in the first entry. Is this correct? Should I have just left it blank?

2. Additional document requested for employment records

- Should i be including all letters of employment from all jobs i held from the past 10 years? even the ones that are not related to my NOC? or only the one that is related to my OINP application and NOC code (21232 - Software Developer)?

3. Additional document requested for Proof Of Funds

- Is this something i should be concerned about? while i have savings set aside in case IRCC does ask for proof of funds that is in line with the express entry POF, i thought proof of funds is not required for the oinp non express entry application.
- I have just called my bank (TD Bank) and while they are able to provide me with the current balance of each of my accounts and the bank statements from the last 6 months, they are not able to provide me with a statement indicating when each account was opened or the average balance for the past 6 months. does anyone have an idea how i can go about this?

4. Additional Family Info IMM5406

- I am a single applicant, with no spouse or children. On my previous application I left those areas blank as I don't have a spouse or children. Is this correct? Should I have put in these fields to indicate 'none' or something? Just wondering why i would need to redo this form..

5. General Question
- For the forms requested to be replaced, should i print the forms and do an actual signature on the forms and scan again and upload? or just writing my name on the signature field would suffice?

sorry if i have a lot of questions, thank you @Miss bee, i hope you get to notice my post and thanks also to whoever spends some time to give me some insight in this kind of stressful scenario i am in!
Hi.
So in the end, how did you handle the Membership and association with organizations, Government positions, Military and paramilitary service? Did you fill other fields other than the first one with "None"? Thank you for your time!

Hello @Miss bee and everybody,

I got the OINP nomination for International Students - Job offers stream and applied for PR in May 2024. After a lot of consideration, I decided to quit the company (that nominated me) in November 2024 to start a new job (same NOC, job title and duties). At that point, I had already received and submitted Medical results and Biometrics. I did email ontarionominee@ontario.ca on my change of employment once I decided to move to a new company.

I was quite sure my PR application would be disqualified but ended up receiving P1 email earlier this week. The PR portal also shows FD is in progress. Is there any chance there was a fluke in the processing and my application will be cancelled?

Thanks in advance!
Hi hows your PR now?Did you received response of oinp?
